Good food, bad jokes, crude bill. The senior boss took special care of us, provided us with stale jokes and explained to us that unfortunately the asylum seekers were bringing Corona to Grassau. The food was good, the bill surprising. Roast potatoes instead of dumplings go to roast pork, but an extra 3 EUR is charged, which only becomes clear on the invoice. There you can also find the schnapps with 4.50EUR, which was offered to us after the meal (we are probably spoiled by the Italian, where the house is available). When we leave we are yelled at by the drunken regulars' table because I went the 5m to the door without a mask. Hospitality feels different.

Quite simply: As food was great! Translated ... duck really crispy, meat tender and juicy! Red cabbage perfectly flavored. With apple and cranberries. Small minus: the sauce. Service and boss and boss very friendly and tried hard to please the guests. Everything was very clean and Corona regulations were observed. A tip: The boss could be a little friendlier to the staff! Will definitely come again!

At first we were very disappointed with the inn and were about to just get up and leave. The inn wasn't really full, but the landlords were still very overwhelmed and maybe a bit drunk, like the people from the regulars' table. We waited almost half an hour before we were served the first time. It took over an hour for the food to arrive. But it was very positive that the food was delicious. Before that, we were a bit afraid of eating, after this long wait. Unfortunately, the landlord made a mistake of +1 coke on our bill. After we paid we noticed this. However, we wanted to leave it that way and decided not to ask here. Five minutes later the innkeeper came back to our table and apologized for having overcharged one coke. Other hosts would certainly not have been so honest. Conclusion: You can eat delicious here, but only if you have a lot of time and are not really hungry.

After today's visit to the Gasthof zur Post, there are unfortunately some not so positive things to report. First of all, the staff was friendly and tried very hard, but very overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the provisions relating to Corona were not complied with in any way: - Kellerin wears the mask under her chin or nose -Our cards were simply passed on to the next table after our use -Tables were not disinfected and immediately occupied again -No disinfectants planned for guests - Slips of paper with contact details were not collected until they left the inn, were openly accessible to all guests on a table (data protection?) -The food was tasty, but it is out of proportion to the price-performance ratio - Beer was also more like room temperature Long waiting times should be planned.

Friendly Trantüte as the waitress, the kitchen tries to make an effort, but the vegetables are tasteless, the meat is dry and the dumplings are dry. Street is noisy. Table surface sticky ...

Encounter of the 3rd kind. Thought Guido Kanz is just around the corner. We don't give any reviews, but you HAVE to write about the Gasthof zur Post. The operation is really not usable! Guests came and went without ordering or eating. Orders were taken arbitrarily, other guests ignored. 45 minutes until our order was taken. According to the cellar, the drinks were taken as a precaution twice. You had to wait half an hour for the bill. The food was not ok. The Backhändl salad tasted like fish and was served without dressing. The Schlemmertopf alla Post was carelessly seasoned and actually tasteless. The cleanliness of the tables etc. should be checked, especially in corona times. Tables are not cleaned after each guest. Often new guests sit at the table for a long time with the dishes from the guests from before. We will NEVER eat there again.

The terrace is inviting, but the rest like service etc is not good. We waited about 40 minutes for drinks and 1.30 hours for food. Definitely not recommended.

Absolutely everything fit to the complete satisfaction! We had six different meals and everything was delicious! The service was also very friendly!

I have read some of the reviews of the others, some thought it was good, the others not, I have to say that is partly true. We were greeted in a friendly manner, (several tables were occupied quite at the same time) and the drinks came quite quickly The food also came in a reasonable time, but the food wasn't as tasty as we would have liked, the dumplings were pretty hard and the rest was relatively tasteless, unfortunately.

I cannot confirm the experience about waiting time. Great food, good value for money and friendly service. We loved to come back and were not disappointed.

Before starting, very good food, reasonable prices, everything went perfectly the first time, were satisfied and came the second time. unfortunately a complete failure. On vacation you have time so it is no problem for us to wait for the food, even if it takes 45 minutes like on Tuesday, but what does not work is that you are not taken for 45 minutes, ignored or not even put off that the order will be taken immediately because of whatever, we could not even order something to drink, sorry does not work at all .. By the way, after about 50 minutes of waiting in vain, we got up and left. The boss is friendly and very talkative which can be very pleasant, but please don't forget the other guests ....

I can only confirm the long waiting time from the meal, although the snack was reserved for our group, we had to wait almost an hour. The boss's tone with her staff also left something to be desired. Instead of insulting the staff, you should help out when there is a lot to do.

We can not understand the 1 star ratings. Had schnitzel and Kaiserschmarren and both were very, very tasty. The host is super funny and nice, everything is clean and great.

Never again. Food cold. After complaint eat back from the microwave. Sauce was a mush. Dumplings old. Pay after repeated request. And the old man also became outrageous. Please avoid. It's not worth it

Medium quality food, slightly slow service, a bit high prices. Kind personel. Nice location.

Very good place to have a rest and to eat! The beer is very good also.
